Johnna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Studies from the University or Warwick, a Master of Theological Studies from Duke University and is a Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Bioethics at Loyola University Chicago’s Neiswanger Institute for Bioethics & Healthcare Leadership.  

 She enjoyed an early career in brand management with the BBC, Universal Music Management, HID Global and others and transitioned to Clinical Pastoral Education, volunteering with the No One Dies Alone program, leading to her alignment with Swan Songs.
