In the spirit of “passing the tip jar” we invite you to join our sustained giving program. Your recurring gift creates stability for Swan Songs®, enabling us to focus on the mission to provide musical last wishes, bringing connection and comfort to patients, family, and friends during what is often a challenging time. The Monthly Tip Jar is a convenient way to donate at whatever level is comfortable for you on an ongoing basis - set it and forget it!
Remember and Reflect™
If you choose to make a gift “in memory of” a special person who has passed, we will honor them on our website’s Remember & Reflect Memorial Wall. Swan Songs also hosts an annual Remember and Reflect Gathering™ in early June and your loved one’s name or image is featured at that event.
If you would like to make a gift “in honor of” someone who is still with us, those honorees are also featured on our website.
Cygnature Circle™
Swan Songs invites you to become a part of our Cygnature Circle. Members are invited to two private events per year, featuring music by beloved Austin artists and the chance to visit and get to know the Swan Songs board, staff, and a community of like-minded supporters. Your one-time or cumulative gift(s) of $1000 per year for an individual/couple or $1500 for a business helps create sustainability and stability for Swan Songs and our mission to fulfill musical last wishes while also supporting Austin area musicians.
Swan Songs Serenade Paddles Up donations and individual Serenade Sponsors $5,000 and above apply towards a Cygnature Circle membership.
$2500 Swan Songs Serenade Sponsorships, ticket sales and live and silent auction sales do not apply towards a membership.
Fun Fact! Cygnus is a prominent constellation in the northern sky. Also known as the Swan constellation, Cygnus means “the swan” in Latin.
Planned Giving
There are many ways to create a meaningful legacy to help ensure the future of Swan Songs, such as including a bequest in your will or living trust that may also provide tax and financial benefits to your estate, depending on your circumstances and objectives.
You can make a bequest by adding language to your will or by naming Swan Songs as the beneficiary of your life insurance policy or retirement plan, bringing comfort, joy, and a respite from the talk of illness to many more families in the future, by ensuring our ability to continue fulfilling Musical Last Wishes.
Swan Songs is qualified to accept gifts from Donor Advised Funds. If you are age 70 ½ or older, you can make a tax-free IRA Donation, which applies toward your annual minimum distribution requirement. A donation of stocks may allow you to share the appreciated value as a tax-deductible donation while also avoiding capital gains taxes. We recommend you consult your financial advisor for any planned gifts.

As a member of our Cygnature Circle, your company will gain access to private concerts, meet-ups with diverse Austin musicians, priority seating at special events and more.
Your company’s annual gift of $1500 supports our mission to provide Musical Last Wishes—bringing joy and comfort to patients, family, and friends during difficult, emotional times. And we will recognize your company on our website and on promotional materials with your name and logo.
